Dragon speech recognition
DeepUnity PACSonWEB supports the Dragon speech engine. This paid feature can only be activated by your local DeepUnity PACSonWEB service partner. Once activated, additional functionalities become available when editing a report.

Using Dragon
Once activated, the following buttons become accessible while editing a report:
Voice input indication
To achieve the best speech recognition results, the volume of your voice input needs to be within a certain range. A colored bar beneath the microphone icon indicates your speaking volume:

If the voice input reaches orange, a message will prompt you to lower your volume for better recognition.
SpeechMike button configuration
You can map the buttons of your SpeechMike within the DeepUnity PACSonWEB Shortcut keys page (see Personal configuration shortcut keys).
By default, only the Record button is mapped to the Toggle recording functionality. Press the record button once to start recording and again to stop.
Any button can be mapped to any shortcut. For example, the F2 button on the SpeechMike could be mapped to the Edit report functionality.
Since the current Dragon implementation not support Rewind, Forward & Playback, those buttons will not be shown in the viewer, nor does it make sense to configure them in the shortcut keys, as they are not supported.
Multi-monitor application
The SpeechMike buttons remain functional when working in DeepUnity PACSonWEB and using the multi-monitor app. For example, you can continue to utilize the SpeechMike buttons while working in an external application, like Syngo.via.
Browser
SpeechMike buttons require additional configuration to function when using DeepUnity PACSonWEB from your browser. They are compatible with Chrome, but require setup.
Contact your local support partner to configure this functionality.
Audio configuration
To configure your audio:
1. Select the language (if more than 1 is available).
2. Choose the input device from the list (microphone input has to be allowed in your browser).
Voice commands
When using Dragon speech the following types of voice commands can be used:
• Formatting commands (bold, italic, underline)
• Selection commands
• Navigation commands
• Correction commands
• Microphone commands
• Bullet list commands
Click the i icon next to the language in the audio configuration for an overview of all possible voice commands.
